Primp My Ride Parade (kids’ human powered parade)
Primp my Ride: Kid-powered parade. Decorate your bike, skateboard, roller skates, scooter, tricycle or pogo stick and cruise through the Village at Copper for this earth-friendly 4th of July parade, led by Giant Puppets. Recycled and re-used decorating supplies include newspapers for handlebar pom-poms, paper towel rolls to string behind the 'vehicle', egg cartons, recyclable ribbon, and of course, the more traditional pipe cleaners, string, and water-based paints. Feel free to bring your own eco-craft supplies, and make sure to bring your camera! Prizes will be awarded for artistic merit, technical merit, and best overall.

Nature’s Educators Raptor Education
Raptor Presentation
In this program, we will dive into the characteristics that define raptors and why they are important to our ecosystems. Audiences will discover the various types of raptors found all over the world, what it takes to care for a raptor, and learn how Nature's Educators is permitted to keep raptors. Two to four of our ambassadors will be present based on length. The audience will learn about their personal histories, anatomy, hunting strategies, and habitats.

Eric & Angelyne
Sometimes unexpected events and adversity offer us a compassionate new purpose.
At the age of 14 Eric Melvin was faced with the lifelong challenge of type 1 diabetes. Two decades later he was faced with another unexpected event. One month after bringing his puppy Angelyne home, she was diagnosed being completely deaf at birth. Diabetes was a battle that Eric could not so easily walk away from. With Angelyne, Eric could have responded as many others could by returning her to the breeder, surrender her to a shelter or have her euthanized. With no promise of success Eric committed with compassion to keep Angelyne and give her the best life he could.
Eric and Angelyne earned the “Most Improved Team” award in puppy obedience class. During training, Eric discovered Angelyne had extraordinary talent, focus, intelligence and a unique connection with people. In their first year they amassed 22 different hand signals and non-verbal commands including an array of tricks. One day a neighbor noticed Eric and Angelyne training and suggested they enter an upcoming dog talent contest. With no expectations Eric and Angelyne entered and won the contest. Afterwards they were greeted by numerous people interested to know their story and if they would bring their message and presentation to the community. From that day the life Eric and Angelyne had known was changing and taking on a new purpose.
Eric and Angelyne the Amazing DEAF Cattle Dog deliver their heart-warming story and trick demonstration to people of all ages, abilities and social situations. Eric and Angelyne now have over 40 hand signals and non-verbal commands with many shown in their presentation. Their presentations educate and inspire as well as touch hearts and minds.
WOW Bubbles
WOW Bubbles are large flexible bubbles that make it possible to safely float, walk, run, roll and jump on the surface of water without getting wet!
The W.O.W. stands for Walk On Water. While inside the transparent bubble you can clearly view everything around you and under water. They are a lot of fun and easy to use. Just hop inside, then we air it up and close the air tight zipper and you're ready. You can walk on water!
Big Wheel Rally
Big Wheel Rally! We're bringing back the 80's….Matt and his group will be hosting the 2nd Annual Copper Mt. Big Wheel Rally on Saturday June 30, 2012 from 1:00pm-2:00pm in Burning Stone Plaza. Kids will begin the day, and racing will finish with the Adult Big Wheel RELAY!
Schedule of Events:
1:00pm Kids 3-4 yrs old (1 lap)
1:15pm Kids 5-6 yrs old (1 lap)
1:30pm Kids 7-8 yrs old (2 laps)
(BYOB- Bring your own Big Wheel**- big wheels will be for sale on site, or you may purchase one at registration online at www.CopperHalf.com)
1:45pm Adult Relay (18 yrs +) Teams of 4 (Special Adult Sized big wheels will be provided)
Each driver will do 1 lap then switch drivers in "Pit Row"(2 laps total- each)- 4 drivers per team, limited to 8 teams!
More heats will be added to the races if more than 8 teams register so we can finish with a Grand Champion!
Watch out kids…here comes dad!

Big Wheels are not mandatory for participation in the 3 Ring Weekend. If you really can't get a Big Wheel, I'd be happy just to have you along with us. But please don't expect to have near as much fun as the rest of us.
We have been trying to adhere to a policy of having only plastic Big Wheels (as opposed to metal trikes).
There are two different kinds of Big Wheels out there to be had: The official Big Wheel made by Empire, and Playskool's Power Cycle. The Playskool model is a lot more like the Big Wheel we knew and loved. They flex a bit more, but the axle won't bend as easily, and they can be out of the box and under your butt in under fifteen minutes. Unfortunately, Playskool stopped production of the masterful Power Cycle in 1995. If you’re lucky enough to find one, it will be used.
Bubble Tower!!!
The Solar Powered Bubble Tower is self sufficient and requires no outside electricity. Being Solar Powered, with a battery backup, it is quiet, and peaceful with no noisy generator. Children of all ages are captivated by the endless variety of shapes, sizes, colors and movement of the bubbles.
